The annual Christmas draw is
one of
Worthing
& Sussex Branch main events
of the year, where we all get together for a fun
Christmas party to pull crackers and to fire party
poppers at each other, exchange cards and put on silly
hats. It was a lovely day in Worthing for a change and
58 people came along to support this event and with 30
super prizes to draw Bob and his team got straight down
to work. The prizes included bottles of wine,
chocolates and this years first prize was a super 32”
flat screen LCD TV which was won by one of the members
actually in the hall and despite the continuing credit
crunch the draw took a very credible £1745 an absolutely
super result and it’s big big thanks to all those
who gave prizes and sold tickets. Well done.
There then followed a lovely
Christmas tea, lots of festive party food, seasonal
cakes and the distribution of Christmas presents for all
those members attending. Another very jolly event indeed
and we wish you all a very Happy Christmas and
prosperous new year.
