The annual Christmas draw is
the Worthing’s Branch premier event of the year where we
all get together for a fun Christmas party to pull
crackers, fire party poppers at each other, exchange
cards and put on silly hats. It was a lovely day in
Worthing for a change and 68 people came along to
support this event and with 30 super prizes to draw Bob
and his team got straight down to work. The prizes
included mobile phones, bottles of wine, chocolates,
designer watches and this years first prize was a super
32” flat screen LCD TV which was won by one of the
members actually in the hall and despite the credit
crunch the draw took a very credible £2038 an absolutely
fantastic result and it’s big big thanks to all those
who gave prizes and sold tickets. Well done.
There then followed a lovely
Christmas tea, lots of festive party food, seasonal
cakes and the distribution of Christmas presents for all
those members attending. Another very jolly event indeed
and we wish you all a very Happy Christmas and
prosperous new year.
