Another record breaking Christmas Draw.
Despite the down turn in the economy and the credit crunch, this years sales of
Christmas draw ticket sales were up again, and not just by a small amount, but a massive 10% to a remarkable £2083. Thanks to all that sold tickets, a grand effort indeed.
Also the number of people that attended this year’s draw was up as well, that meant more work for the volunteers and helpers who had to cater for 85 members.
The draw went smoothly as always, and there were a few winners in the hall that was nice to see, the first prize was a super LCD flat screen TV that was won by
Mrs. J Stout from Lancing, which was good, as it was easy to deliver.
Another happy and joyful event, so I wish you all a Happy
Christmas and a prosperous new year.
