Slimbridge
This was the first wetland to be persevered by the trust, and was
the first outing of the holiday. Weather started out overcast and cloudy, with a few specks of rain, but by the time we had passed through the visitors
center the rain stopped and it cleared up quite nicely.
We followed the main route around the wetlands
and we were all pleased that we could see
everything from the height of our scooters
and wheelchairs.
However the birds seemed starving, so I am
glad I bought a bag of bird seed at the
entrance and I did my best to satisfy each
and every one of our feathered friends.
