This years annual dinner was held at the
Windsor hotel, which is just a stones throw
away from the Worthing seafront.
Sixty people attended, mainly from the
Worthing branch but it was so nice to have
guests join us from the Southampton branch
as well.
This years guest of honour was David
Mitchell, the National Chairman who gave a
very interesting speech about how we would
like to expand the membership base and raise
awareness of post polio syndrome amongst
medical professionals so that they are more
understanding when polio members explain
their pps problems. He also took the time to
meet all those guests attending introducing
himself and getting to know the members.
The raffle also took a very creditable
£210.00 and it's many thanks to all those
that participated.
So all in all the company was excellent, the
food was excellent and the location was
excellent too and it's a many thanks to
Barbara Stephens for organising the event.
